Abstract
Les mappings vidéo, ou projections architecturales 3D, sont une forme de spectacle multimédia qui, lorsque intégré à un édifice patrimonial, convoque un espace de médiations multiples. Les effets visuels et l’iconographie, combinés à la structure et à la charge symbolique de l’édifice, créent un espace physique et virtuel que peut expérimenter le spectateur. Deux exemples de mappings illustrent des stratégies différentes : le Moulin à images pour commémorer les 400 ans de la Ville de Québec sur une structure industrielle et l’Ode à la vie pour célébrer le monument iconique de la Sagrada Familia à Barcelone.
