Abstract
À la suite du développement du droit international et du principe de la responsabilité de protéger les populations menacées, la théorie de la guerre juste refait surface dans les débats éthiques concernant les interventions humanitaires. Cet article tente donc de retracer les origines de la pensée éthique en ce domaine, en ayant recours à la philosophie, au droit, à la théologie et à la science politique, pour comprendre comment l’éthique peut aider à résoudre les dilemmes d’intervention.
