Abstract
Miejskim Pałacu Kongresów (Palacio Municipal de Congresos), znajdującym się w nowej dzielnicy Madrytu (Campo de las Naciones), odbył się 11.Europejski Kongres Medycyny Wewnętrznej (11 th European Congress of Internal Medicine) połączony z XXXIII Narodowym Kongresem Hiszpańskiego Towarzystwa Medycyny Wewnętrznej (Sociedad Espan ~ola de Medicina Interna).W obradach 24-27 października 2012 r. wzięło udział ponad tysiąc lekarzy z wielu krajów.Z uwagi na połączenie kongresu europejskiego z narodowym przeważali lekarze z Hiszpanii, mimo że jedynym językiem obrad był język angielski.
