Abstract
Summary WebLUIS is a Web version of the NOTIS/LUIS software that the Florida Center for Library Automation (FCLA) began developing for the State University System (SUS) of Florida libraries in 1996 as a replacement for its traditional OPAC. WebLUIS was developed to allow direct linking from citation-to-full-text. In early 1997 several of the SUS libraries decided to license the full-image version of Elsevier science journals, to be stored and delivered over the Web by FCLA. The workshop was divided into three topics of discussion: consortial issues, technical realities, and Public Services experiences.
