Les ecoles publiques francophones au Canada (hors Quebec) se trouvent en contexte linguistique minorise. Des chercheurs estiment que la direction de ces ecoles doit adopter un leadership qui le transcende. Lapointe (2002) a propose un modele hypothetique de leadership educationnel en milieux linguistiques minoritaires. Godin, Lapointe, Langlois et St-Germain (2004) concluent que les directions de ces milieux pratiquent un leadership ancre dans un patrimoine vivant. Cet article demontre que les styles de leadership identifies pour les leaders scolaires de ce contexte sont lies a l’un ou l’autre des huit principes de la theorie du leadership transformatif de Shields (2013) que nous leur proposons.
