Abstract
Hintergrund: RHAMM (Receptor for Hyaluron Mediated Motility, intracellular hyaluronan binding protein [IHAP], CD168) ist als Brustkrebs -Risikofaktor identifiziert, der das Erkrankungsrisiko von BRCA1Mutationsträgerinnen modifiziert (Maxwell et al., 2012). Die Überexpression von RHAMM ist mit einer schlechten Prognose assoziiert. BRCA1 reguliert RHAMM direkt, indem es im Verlauf des Zellzyklus über eine Ubiquitinylierung die Degradation von RHAMM einleitet.
