Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

We propose a detection scheme for localized magnetostatic surface (LMS) resonant spheres using a near-field probe. The detection is facilitated by an electrically very small probe that is highly susceptible to magnetic energy in its surroundings. In the presence of a magnetic dispersive sphere, the probe's reflection coefficient S 11 demonstrates an open circuit behavior at LMS resonance along with resonance splitting. A circuit model is presented to predict the LMS resonance, and full-wave simulation of the probe is provided to demonstrate the phenomenon and validate the circuit model. The detection mechanism can be generalized to detect LMS resonance in nonspherical shapes having low magnetic loss in low microwave frequencies.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
