Abstract
Le CLIC en ligne est un cours de français langue seconde gratuit destiné aux immigrants adultes. Financé par Citoyenneté et Immigration Canada, le projet a été élaboré par le Centre des Niveaux de compétence linguistique canadiens. Du point de vue de l’ALAO, le défi était de rejoindre un public complexe : niveau de langue parfois faible ; compétences variables en informatique ; priorité des urgences familiales et/ou professionnelles. La communication proposée permet de situer le projet, ses enjeux pour l’apprentissage des langues officielles du Canada, et de présenter les réponses apportées aux difficultés rencontrées. Ces réponses tiennent compte des travaux sur la compétence langagière, sur le français langue seconde pour adultes ou encore des bilans réalisés sur les dispositifs linguistiques d’intégration des immigrants.
