Abstract
The prevalence of vascular remodeling in hypertension and its relationship to obesity and metabolic syndrome have become more apparent in recent years. Mounting evidence has revealed new mechanisms of vascular remodeling and potential treatment options. This article discusses these new mechanisms and how new evidence may be applied to the management of hypertension and metabolic syndrome.
