Abstract
Cette recherche présente deux études ayant pour objectif d’explorer quelques prédicteurs de l’anxiété à l’égard de la transition à la retraite, à savoir les cinq facteurs de la personnalité, l’anxiété-trait, l’humeur dépressive, le sentiment de cohérence, le soutien social, la santé subjective, l’ajustement dyadique, le processus de réalisation des buts, l’âge subjectif, la masculinité, la féminité et le moment du départ à la retraite. Nos participants (N = 175 et N = 134) étaient tous actifs et proches de la retraite. Les résultats des analyses de régression multiple et des analyses discriminantes ont révélé que les principaux prédicteurs de cette anxiété étaient l’âge, le sentiment de cohérence, l’anxiété, le névrosisme, le caractère consciencieux, le processus de réalisation des buts, le moment du départ à la retraite, la masculinité, le consensus marital et la satisfaction maritale.
