Abstract
The performance of an idealized pulse detonation engine (PDE), based on a realistic multi-tube system concept, was evaluated through simulations of the behavior of a singletube. Event timing, geometric and valve inflow parameters calculated with the design version of an analytical model were used as input for subsequent performance calculations based on a limit cycle version of the analytical model, a one-dimensional model based on the method of characteristics and a two-dimensional model based on the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) code Chinook. The CFD methodology was validated through comparison with analytical ramjet calculations and through reproduction of PDE simulations from the open literature. Factors affecting system performance were then evaluated including the importance of thermodynamic consistency in single-γ simulations, the effect of single-γ models, time-averaged pressure, percentage purge, the combined effect of mass flow rate and percentage purge, and the effect of nozzle expansion ratio and nozzle entrance cone angle.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from it
