Madelaine Louise Coates, RN, retired was a Lt/Nag Sister in the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps from 1944 to the end of WWII. She has had a varied nursing career, first in psychiatry, then as an eye service consultant to legally blind students in sighted schools and as the head nurse m an alcohol unit. Madelaine lives in Orillia, Ontario, Canada. She attends St. Athanasius Anglican Church in Orillia.
