Abstract
Licenciado en Fisicas (especialidad astrofisica), por la Universidad de Montreal (Canada), es asimismo Ingeniero Industrial especializado en electronica del Estado Solido por la misma Universidad. Su vida profesional se inicia en Centro de Investigacion de ALCAN (Canada). De regreso a Espana en 1976, se incorpora al Centro de Calculo de INTECSA desarrollando sistemas de simulacion matematica, y mas tarde a la Estacion de seguimiento de Satelites de Villafranca del Castillo de la ESA, como jefe de Operaciones. Tras ocupar diversos cargos, Jacinto Garcia Palacios participo en el nacimiento de EADS (European Aeronautics Defense and Space). En la actualidad ocupa el cargo de Consejero Delegado de la empresa espanola de satelites HISPASAT
