Einleitung: QVA149 ist eine zugelassene, einmal täglich anzuwendende Bronchodilatator-Kombination aus Indacaterol (IND) und Glycopyrronium (GLY) zur Dauerbehandlung von Patienten mit symptomatischer COPD. Ziel der folgenden Analyse der SPARK-Studie war die Untersuchung des Effekts von QVA149 gegenüber GLY und Tiotropium (TIO) auf Lungenfunktion, Gesundheitsstatus und Sicherheit in der Subgruppe von Patienten mit schwerer COPD.
