Le present travail consiste en l'elaboration et la caracterisation des solides aerogels de zircone sulfatee dopee au nickel, et l'optimisation de leurs performances catalytiques dans la reaction d'isomerisation du n-hexane. Ces solides ont ete prepares par voie sol-gel, seches dans les conditions hypercritiques du solvant et calcines a differentes temperatures. La caracterisation des aerogels de differents rapports molaires nNi/nZr par physisorption de N 2 montre que ces solides sont dotes de surfaces specifiques developpees et d'une distribution poreuse homogene. Tous les solides stabilisent la phase ZrO 2 quadratique meme a haute temperature de calcination. On note en plus le developpement de la phase NiO pour les echantillons riches en nickel. L'addition du nickel en faible quantite ameliore les proprietes catalytiques de la zircone aerogel sulfatee, alors que l'augmentation de la teneur en nickel diminue les performances catalytiques du catalyseur.
