Construction of Sleep-Hygiene Scales and Classification of Sleep Patterns in Undergraduates

Abstract
不眠, 不充分な睡眠や付随する疲労は, 行動問題や情動障害に関連し, 二次的な学業問題, 集中力欠如, 成績悪化などに結びつく。そこで本研究では, 睡眠問題発現の予防学的側面をふまえ第1に, 睡眠習慣調査の因子分析により大学生の睡眠生活パタンを総合的に把握する尺度を構成した。第2に, 尺度得点のクラスター分析により睡眠習慣を分類し, 大学生の睡眠衛生上の潜在的問題点を検討した。因子分析により睡眠に関する3尺度一位相関連 (朝型・夜型と規則・不規則関連9項目), 質関連 (熟眠度関連6項目), 量関連 (睡眠の長さと傾眠性関連6項目) 一を抽出し, 通学など社会的要因との関連を示唆した。分類した6群のうち4群は, 睡眠不足, 睡眠状態誤認, 睡眠相後退など睡眠障害と共通点を示し, 時間的拘束の緩い大学生活から規則的な就業態勢への移行時に睡眠問題が生じる危険性を示唆した。また本研究のような調査票による, 医学的見地からみた健常範囲内での睡眠習慣類型化の可能性を示唆した。分類結果に性差を認め, 短時間睡眠で高傾眠群, 睡眠の質が悪いが朝型, 規則的で平均睡眠量の群で女子の, 夜型, 不規則, 睡眠過多な群, 夜型, 不規則で睡眠の質が悪い群では男子の割合が高かった。従来の知見をふまえ生物学的要因の関与を推測した。
