Abstract

Depuis une dizaine d’années, la thématique de la télécollaboration, des échanges interculturels en ligne ou de la communication médiatisée par ordinateur en langues tient une place croissante dans le champ de l’ALAO (apprentissage assisté par ordinateur). Cet exposé proposera à la fois un panorama et un bilan intermédiaire de ce domaine de pratiques et de recherches. Pour la dimension « panoramique », après avoir présenté un historique du domaine, on proposera une typologie des échanges en ligne fondée à la fois sur le dispositif adopté et sur l’objectif principal visé. Pour la recherche, on évoquera, de manière sélective, quelques problématiques qu’abordent plus particulièrement les chercheurs européens, pas toujours bien connus outre-atlantique : distinction entre mutualisation et collaboration, effet des outils synchrones ou asynchrones sur la communication, dimension socio-affective du tutorat.
