Abstract
In United Kingdom, a new electronic cash system, Mondex has emerged and has also been launched in the United States, Europe, Canada, and more recently in Hong Kong. This report is essentially looking into the current payment habits of Singaporeans, their attitude towards a cashless society as well as their knowledge, opinion and acceptance towards the Mondex system. An in-depth study of the Mondex System was also conducted and presented in this research report.
