Abstract
This manuscript is about the study of redox stability of Sm0.95Ce0.05Fe1-xCrxO3-δ (x=0-0.10) perovskite materials. These are stable under reducing atmosphere at temperature below 800oC and phase separation does happen at higher tmperatures.These materials have ability of oxygen recapturing when exposed to air after reduction treatment.The reduction treatment helped in improving electrical conductivity due to formation of nanoparticles on the surface. Indeed x=0.03 has highest electrical conductivities under both oxidizing and reducing condition.
