Abstract
Cet article se propose d’éclairer les procédés par lesquels Léonora Miano tente de construire une identité afropéenne dans son romanLa Saison de l’ombre. Ainsi, la mobilisation d’un « langage naturel » qui réalise l’accrétion du romanesque et du poétique et qui donne au langage romanesque une littéralité autochtone, constitue une expérience stylistique qui tente d’accomplir cette nouvelle poétique du monde. De même, une « épopée du poétique » contribue à l’élaboration esthétique de cette nouvelle identité à travers une écriture polyphonique et une conception simultanée de l’espace-temps. L’identité afropéenne s’élabore également à travers l’invention de nouvelles métaphores qui reconstituent des territoires existentiels à travers le rêve, une écriture adéquate capable d’habiter la frontière, de tisser de nouvelles identités, afropéennes.
