Abstract
As part of the Resource Cities Initiative, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce organized a BC tour that highlighted the importance of the natural resources industry to the success of the local, provincial and national economies. The tour allowed 10 executives from local Chambers of Commerce across Canada to visit the West Coast and learn about the industry in various regions. The goal of the tour was the participants would take what they’d learned and relay the information back to their local communities so that they too can be more informed about Canada’s natural resources industries.
