Abstract
Dans une communauté de communes de l’Aveyron en France, un agent culturel du développement rural a souhaité repenser l’approche aménagiste des destinations touristiques. La finalité ne consiste pas à concevoir les aménagements dans une approche instrumentale et marketing. Il s’agit de redonner de la présence à l’habiter culturel ancré dans un territoire de vie, l’enjeu étant alors de revitaliser la vie rurale à partir d’une implication et d’une participation forte des habitants-créateurs comme principe pour développer des usages récréatifs de la ruralité. L’éducation à l’environnement se comprend alors comme un processus innovant permettant, par la mise en place d’un système culturel localisé, la réappropriation d’un lieu rural par la communauté locale de vie.
