Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Abstract Subak consists of four components: a temple, community organisations, paddy fields, and irrigation systems. All the above components combine into a subak area. Paddy fields are currently being transformed for other uses such as commercial and residential purposes. This affects on the sustainability of Subak and the culture it supports. One of the subak areas experiencing such intervention is Subak Kedampang. This study aims to determine the changes in land use, and its effects on the sustainability of the Subak Kedampang. Qualitative research methods are deployed. From 1990-2013 research demonstrates that Subak Kedampang has lost approximately 185.36 hectares of paddy fields to non-agricultural land use. Causes are largely due to the land consolidation, infertile farmland, and income differentials resulting either from cultivating the land or th elease or sale of such land for non-agricultural functions. These changes undermine the quality of paddy fields, Subak membership, and its irrigation systems. Irrigation systems then perform the additional function of sewers. Changes of land use therefore undermine the sustainability of the Subak Kedampang area as well as that of the entire island. Keywords: spatial changes, land use, subak area Abstrak Subak memiliki komponen tempat suci, organisasi kemasyarakatan, lahan persawahan dan sistem irigasi.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
