Abstract
Transient ischemic attacks (TIAs) can lead to subsequent stroke within 90 days in an estimated 10% to 20% of cases. Current guidelines recommend prompt testing for stroke risk factors including hypercholesterolemia, carotid stenosis, and atrial fibrillation.
