Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

This is Volume 29 of the Short Course Series produced by the Mineralogical Society of Canada. Published in softback at an attractive price, the book attempts to review established procedures and instrumentation developed for Laser Ablation ICP-MS. Laser Ablation ICP-MS has become an important tool in the Earth Sciences, providing the possibility of measuring the chemical composition of minerals in situ for a wide range of elements at very low concentration levels. The comparatively recent development of magnetic sector, multicollector ICP-MS instruments has expanded the capabilities to measure a wide range of isotopic compositions. High precision isotopic measurements can be achieved within minerals on …

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
