Abstract
“因纽特文”即原来的“爱斯基摩文”。自1999年起,国际上为示尊重,已不再使用“爱斯基摩”(Eskimo)一词,而改称“因纽特”(Inuit)。因纽特文是北极原住民“因纽特族”所通用的专用文字,采用符号拼音,共36个字母,由一百多年前欧洲殖民北极时期的丹麦基督教宣教士所创。目前,“因纽特文”通用于东北极及中北极地区,不仅用于签名,也是教学、传播、告示及著作时使用的文字,其国际重要性已随着北冰洋争论的扩大而快速增加。
