A previously healthy 39-year-old Canadian-born man travelled to Havana, Cuba, for one week on business. He stayed in a local home and ate foods prepared by the family. The night before his departure home, he ate two portions of a large fish identified by the host as a dog snapper ([Figure 1][1]).
