Abstract
eTests est un logiciel libre permettant l’édition collaborative et la diffusion d’évaluations formatives par questions à choix multiples sur le Web. Ces évaluations sont formatives, car à chaque proposition de réponse sont associés des justificatifs détaillés ou des indices, selon que la proposition est correcte ou incorrecte. Ce retour instantané d’information permet à l’étudiant de rectifier une éventuelle erreur ou de conforter son raisonnement. L’enregistrement de chaque réponse permet le suivi des performances individuelles ou de groupes. Ceci permet à l’apprenant de se positionner vis-à-vis de ses pairs et le responsabilise dans sa formation. L’analyse édumétrique des réponses permet de détecter des difficultés de résolution, qui peuvent révéler la présence d’un obstacle cognitif de la matière enseignée, dont le diagnostic pourra être affiné par la rédaction de séquences de questions de complexité croissante.
