In response to a climate of secrecy surrounding cuts in Heritage Canada funding to arts organizations concerned with queer, feminist, and social justice issues, Studio 303 Artistic Director Miriam Ginestier kicked off the Cabaret Tollé in Montreal. Performer Alexis O’Hara describes why she ended up hosting in it wearing a giant papier mâché Stephen Harper head.
