Abstract
combining with condition of the Automatic Meter Reading System(AMRS) at home and abroad,a new embedded remote AMRS model is presented based on Internet.And former dissimilarity,the AMRS is that the Meter Reading Instrument(MRI) sends data to the management system,after it copies data from the intelligence instrument,using the Internet in the living quarter,finally,making the communication between administrators and inhabitants come true.The new MRI is composed of W78E516B as its hardware core,embedded TCP/IP and operating system to implement the data collection,storage and internet transmission.
