Huaneng Nanjing Power Plant is equipped with two supercritical pressure generation units firstly imported from Russia in China. Safe operation of units is directly threatened because of their lagging technical and frequently broken down control system. From November 28, 1999, DCS transformation of the unit No.2 has been accomplished. Since then, its reliability and controllability have been greatly enhanced. Fig 1 and table 1.
