Abstract
Canada's multi-cultural policy saves and promotes its traditional cultures,which gives lots of successful experiences on China's education development under multi-ethnic background.The very culture of different ethnic groups consists of an important and inseparable part of the entire Chinese culture and it should be maintained and promoted.In the areas inhabited by minority ethnic groups,more positive ways of education development need to be found.Therefore,suggestions are proposed in this paper concerning more chances and fund for teacher training,various curriculum plans,more steps for bilingual teaching and a gradual shift from different periods of schooling.
