Sub-bottom profiler mainly consists of the upper host module and the DSP module.The DSP module accommodates a single digital signal processor of the TMS320VC33 family, which performs the signal receiving and transmitting task and realizes the related signal processing algorithms.A tempt is tried to port the μC/OS-Ⅱ to the DSP module as a real time operating system taking charge of the transmission, sampling and correlation tasks.And the result is desirable.The successful porting provides a reliable system software platform and framework for application, which facilitate the further extension of complex functionality of the DSP module for the underwater acoustical system such as the sub-bottom profiler.
