Abstract
Geological environment is a main factor influencing upon res idential architecture designs. It is necessary and important that geological factor affecting residential architure designs is analyzed and applying geological theories to residential architecture designs is discussed, not only having theoretic sense, but also practical significance in residential quarter construction of modern well-to-do type. In the article, geological factor influencing upon residential architecture designs is probed into in groundsill carrying capacity, geological architectural materials, geomagnetic field effects and seismic disaster.
