Abstract
Community colleges in Canada initiatively meet the needs both for able talents of enterprises and other departments and of special requirements of various learners,their achievements have solved the problem of deficient enrollment capability of formal universities and meet the demand of broad masses to receive continual education in one hand,they have also cultivated lots of applied capable people for localities.Community colleges have played a very important role in Canadian economic construction and social development;they have shaped clear personalities and characteristics of their own.Taking their successful experiences of school-running as our good references will be beneficial to China’s after-high-school occupational education in term of school-running models,curriculum designing,building-up of teachers contingents,etc.
