Abstract
The doctrine of Restraint of Trade is the judicial bases for the court of the Common Law Countries to decide whether a business transaction is unfair. With the commercial development of professional sports,this doctrine has been applied in the area of professional sports.If the suspension given by the sports federations to the athletes goes beyond the reasonable limits required by the legislation,it will be dismissed by the court with the doctrine of Restraint of Trade.
