Abstract
This paper makes brief introduction to the Hanover Kronsberg ecological residential quarter, which is the european ecoliving model area. The authors explain the way that the project combines housing and construction of ecological thinking and advanced energy saving strategies with the town planning the concept of sustainable development to create a kind of new concepts, ecological optimization model of residential development by making good use of ripe high-tech and low-tech energy saving tactics.
