Study on the Photosynthetic Properties of Some Local Fine Root Hair Yam Varieties

Abstract
Yam varieties is a kind of important vegetable,but it’s breeding were lagging because of ’ reproduction mainly with stem tube.There were many local yam varieties with good quality were not studied.In this test,photosynthetic properties of 5 local fine hair yam varieties,including xincheng yam,jipi yam,jiaxiang yam,tiegun yam and ningyang yam,by single-factor randomized block design with 3 reiteration.The results showed that photosynthetic daily variation of 5 varieties all showed double-peak phenomenon,indicated that all the studied yam varieties had noon rest phenomenon.The noon rest in photosynthesis was mainly caused by stoma limit.The condense of CO2 in the internal cells was low at noon rest.There was no significant difference in the Pn,Ci,Gs and Tr among the varieties.
