Throughout the world,civic education promoters are hoping the media power of education to enable students to live an active life in the modern information society and to exercise their civic rights.At present,Britain,Canada,United States,Australia,Finland,France,Germany,Japan and other countries,even China 's Taiwan,Hong Kong and other regions have integrated the media education into civic education system of primary and secondary schools,and it has become an international trend to make better civic education through the medium of education.This article elaborates on its background and significance of values and ways,and gives suggestions for China's civic education.
