Abstract
literature,with thirty-year history since the reform and opening up,can be divided into three stages.At the first stage(1978-1991),it takes poems as its main literary style,Beihai natural scenery as most important creative theme.Thus literature can be described as a natural singer with simple thought.The second stage(1991-2003) ends the situation of each following his own principle and individual doing his own duty,sets up their own literary groups and attracts a large number of literary migrants of Beihai tide to form a loose and huge literary creation team.The third stage of literature(2003-2008) tries to go beyond the local concept confined to city,coming up to marine literature concept of North Bay Literature with fiction as its main style.
