Abstract
The study dealt with effect of Aluminum(Al) on germination of Chinese Toon(Toona sinensis) with different Al supplementation(0,10,20,30,40,50,60,70,80,90,100,110,120,130,140,150,300,450,600,750,900,1050mg/L).The results showed that low Al promoted the germination rate,germination power,germination index,vigor index and fresh weight,but high Al restrained significantly the germination of Chinese Toon seeds,the higher of the concentration,the more significant of inhabitation,and the treatment of 1050mg/L led the bud to go moldy and dead easily.Our experiment offered not only the basis for the further study of physiological and biochemical influences of the aluminum on Chinese Toon but also fundamental research for cultivation on acidic soils and prevention of aluminum toxicity of Chinese Toon.
