Abstract
University of Toronto is a famous research-oriented university,which also pays much attention to teaching.The office of teaching advancement(OTA) was built in order to provide teachers with various teaching resources,organize proseminar and workshop about teaching,provide professional training to new teachers,and award good teachings.It gained world-wide admiration due to its development in university teaching.Analyzing and probing into the characteristics of the OTA at the University of Toronto provides reference meaning for the development of our higher education.
