Abstract
Wrestling is a unique technique in sanda.The implementation of the new rules in 2011 has greatly influenced the application of wrestling and even the application sanda techniques.The paper,by means of literature material,video observations and expert interviews,makes a profound study of the application of sanda wrestling after the new rules.The study result shows that compared with the National Games of 2009,the athletes' application of Sanda wrestling apparently dropped in 2011 Sanda Championship,especially in terms of that of the leg wrestling.The success rate has also dropped significantly,especially close quarter wrestling.Athletes of different levels have a relatively stable command of the wrestling techniques.The athletes' success rate became higher and higher from quarter final.
