Based on the theory of ecological economics and the objectives of low-carbon development,and taking into account such measurements as environmental stability, social equity and economic development,the ecology-equity-efficiency model has been established with an indicator system of CO2 emission scale,distribution and efficiency.This paper calculates and analyzes the CO2 emission status and space of the major countries worldwide from 1990 to 2050 by taking the global CO2 emission amount as a control objective indicator and the CO2 emission per person per annum as a distribution indicator.The results indicate that the annual CO2 emissions per capita globally are 2.95 tons and the gross CO2 emissions of USA,Canada and some other developed countries have over-drawn.It is thus suggested that such countries should improve their CO2 emission efficiency and take responsibility for providing funds and technologies to help the developing countries with CO2 emission reduction.
