Abstract
After a comparative analyses of commodity structure of import and export of China since 1992,it is obvious that China's importation is investment-oriented.Taking importation as a kind of re-investment and a part of gross domestic product(GDP),which has been transformed through international market,a theoretic model of multiplier effects on economic growth has been established.The economic-growth effect of China's investment-oriented importation has been supported by empirical research based on time series data of import.
