Abstract
To regulate the relationship between human beings and natural environment from the angle of morality,the primary principles of environmental ethics must be defined.The principles of environmental ethics should be constructed with the public benefits of human beings in the natural ecosystem revealed in the ecological science as its practical foundation and objective basis.Sustainable survival,the primary principle of environmental ethics,reflects the new cognition of the coexisting relations between human beings and nature.The harmonious coexistence of human beings and nature,and the justice between generations and within one generation are the basic requirements of sustainable survival principles.
