Construction of Molecular Fingerprinting for Forty Spanish-type Peanut Using SSR Markers

Abstract
40 Spanish-type peanuts(Var.vulgaris Harz in Arachis hypogaea L.)from main production area in south China were used as materials.The molecular marker bands of varieties were analyzed using 62 pairs of SSR primers.The molecular fingerprinting for forty varieties were constructed using 12 SSR primer pairs out of 62,which have high polymorphism and clean bands.A total of 88 polymorphic alleles were amplified.The average of polymorphic information content(PIC) is 0.779.The fingerprinting of 40 Spanish-type peanut varieties was constructed by 88 polymorphic alleles.The results would be useful to identify these peanut varieties.
