In course of the urbanization at the first half of 20th century,there were a tendency what the upper class come together to the urban center and the lower class distributed over the marginal area in Chinese city,and the marginal quarters in where poor people lived were formed.Whether Tianjin's space structure or the life style of its inhabitant,there were distinctive characteristic in the marginal quarter society.The low social culture from the marginal quarter,with upper social culture from foreign concessions had constituted an interactive framework of modern urban culture of China together.
