Abstract
This article presents a basic categorical system for the environmental philosophy, characterizes traditional Chinese and western environmental metaphysics with the well known terms of the Oneness of Heaven and Human and the Vicious Bifurcation between Subjectivity and Objectivity, and analyses the construction and prospect of contemporary environmental philosophy as a discipline under the stress of the sustainable development.
