Abstract
This design performs an automatic online measuring for cigarette physical parameters, including weight, length, circumference, roundness, density, humidity, pressure drop and ventilation. This paper, first, discusses status of related researches and significance of this design. Then, automatic procedures and measuring principles are introduced with specified points of innovation, such as application of image processing algorithm. At last, hardware foundation and software design are analyzed systematically including details in choosing a comfortable and convenient development environment.
